Had to pick up...

Okay, I have heard about this and couldn't resist, so had to grab a copy for my Kindle this morning:

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades Trilogy #1)Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

Bastian (Lords of Satyr Series #6)Bastian: The Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber

Man-gods born to live and love forever, the Lords of Satyr are renowned for their sexual prowess. . .and unquenchable lust. . .
Call My Name

The forum excavations in Rome go on, directed by the iron-willed, charismatic Lord Bastian Satyr. Out of nowhere, a mysterious, haunting voice calls out to him. . .and lures him to the site of a long-vanished temple, where vestal virgins once performed rites of erotic surrender. The temple is the find of his career, but his heart is about to face the unknown. . .

Michaela is a pure Ephemeral. She can enter the bodies of others--and become any woman a man might wish to possess. His choice is her pleasure. And the commanding and utterly virile Bastian is the only man she desires. . .

Hey April....good luck with the new blog! I've been reading about Fifty Shades of Grey and it was brought up at my book club last night as the new wave of reading with e-readers being more "private" reading. I'll look forward to your reviews as I've read mixed thoughts on this one.

Good luck with the new blog, April. What Bonnie mentioned about e-readers and privacy was the topic of a recent WSJ article too.

Have fun with the blog.

Let me know on the 50 Shades Of Grey! I don't want to get it if it's not what some of the folks have said it is. I trust your opinion! :-)

LOVE the new blog!

Bonnie, I completely agree about the ereaders giving more privacy. I doubt I would be reading much erotica if it were print copies simply because of the kids seeing them and it does feel a bit awkward to carry a print book with some of these covers around for all eyes to see, lol. I love the privacy the ereaders provide!

Thanks Cheryl and Molly!!

Cheryl-I will look for that WSJ article..sounds interesting.

April-I agree about the ereader privacy. A friend of mine makes a separate folder and has titled it something that her daughter won't get into. I don't share my ereader but privacy is nicer when you have one! I am curious about Fifty Shades of Grey and it's pricey right now with the popularity so I will watch for your review. I'm amazed at how you pulled your blog together so quickly and it looks so professional. Although, the couple look like teenagers:) I need to figure out how to get a new look for my blog.

Bonnie, I am going to begin reading it shortly. I am very curious as well. I know, I love the background of this template but wish the couple looked a bit older. Am going to have to do some more searching to find one that is a bit more "adult", lol
